    It will be a good idea to have an ISO including a bootable kernel and a simple installer. There is a LOT of work need to be done in command line mode to get CruxPPC installed -cheCk the README-

    Someone must still have on of those Linux CDs for Peg1 stored somewhere.

    http://www.osnews.com/story/3589/Pegasos_An_Interesting_Sexy_New_Platform/page2/

    hmmm another option could be PegXlin... does anyone still have it?

    In that article I can read references for Debian or YDL...

    @polluks

    as i remember you need to rebuild opt/libdrm with a patch to have DRI enabled on peg2:

    Code:

    nel@pmac:~$ cat /usr/ports/ppc/opt/libdrm/Pkgfile
    # Description: Userspace interface to kernel DRM services
    # URL: http://dri.freedesktop.org/
    # Maintainer: acrux, acrux at linuxmail dot org
    # Depends on: libpthread-stubs
    # PPC!=:

    name=libdrm
    version=2.4.29
    release=1
    source=(http://dri.freedesktop.org/$name/$name-$version.tar.bz2
    pci0001.patch)

    build() {
    cd $name-$version
    # if your videocard is on PCI:0001 bus (e.g. on Pegasos2)
    # patch -p0 -i $SRC/pci0001.patch

    ./configure --prefix=/usr --with-gnu-ld
    --disable-intel --enable-udev
    --enable-nouveau-experimental-api

    make
    make DESTDIR=$PKG install
    }

    Site has been down for half a decade, but there's a new port of Crux for PPC32:

    "CRUX-PPC goal is to supports 32bit PowerPC G3 and G4. It does not support 64bit PowerPC (G5) at this time. There are still a fair number of Linux distributions supporting G5 machines but distros supporting 32bit PowerPC are getting scarce. Hence, for now at least, CRUX-PPC efforts are focused on the 32bit PowerPC machines.
    This project is not a continuation of the (now defunct) CRUX-PPC project which existed previously (until 2012 or so). This project is a new port of CRUX-3.5 to the PowerPC. Although similarities exist and pieces from the previous CRUX-PPC may be reused in this project, this is a fresh port of CRUX to the PowerPC and backwards compatibility with the previous CRUX PPC is not a goal of this project.
