I'm sure they would be intrested in MorpOS-support if they knew it could be done and they could support that project somehow.
If interested, they can spend the money immediately to buy a Pegasos 2 (or if on tight budget, second hand Pegasos 1) - that way they will also get way more powerful system
I'm perfectly aware that I
can go and buy a Pegasos 2 or second hand Pegasos 1.
But my decision was and still is first to give the PPC-OS a try on my given hardware before I decide which hardware to buy for which OS.
In the beginning it was said that OS4 would come out for PPC equipped classic Amigas at first and on the MOS side it was similar.
Then plans got changed and the classic support of OS4 was postponed in favour of the A1 version.
Then there was no hw for the A1 version and so they wait with the release of the A1 version until new hw is perhaps available one day and with the release of the classic version they want to wait even longer.
Now we learned that there still is no installer and no native Mediator support in OS4 for the classics.
Now I'm in a situation where I can choose between the not available OS4 for classics and the MorphOS version for the classics.
Both don't have native Mediator support at the moment.
I tend to support
that system in future which is the first to offer native Mediator support in the classic version.
Years ago I got betrayed when I gave 50 Euros to show my support for the "next gen Amiga system".
Now I would not mind to offer 50 Euros as an Bounty for Mediator support for Amiga 3/4000 in the classic version of MorphOS.
The team that is the first to offer native Mediator support is the one that wins me as an customer for the future.
