    I have a site that offers streaming video ..horse racing. It has a media check an expects Microsoft Media Player or Flip4mac for a Safari Browser. OWB can access the site, log in, and use most of the site. What to do? 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

    MPlayer now works with OWB and getVideo

    I configured OWB to launch MPlayer for any pls and m3u file. So I can visit radio sites e.g. http://www.slayradio.org and simply click on the play icon.

    I only stream videos from my satellite receivers and there I simply open the web interface, click onto the stream button and mplayer pops up playing the stream.

    Here is a translated article to configure getVideo with the OWB browser

    http://obligement.free.fr/articles/getvideo_owb.php

    Installling getVideo:

    1. Requirements:
    * working ARexx setup
    Yes Rexxmast is in the startup sequence!
    There was a mention to rename a tool rexxsyslib and install another from older resxxlib?
    Yes got an old 1999 rexxlib and copied it
    * a TCP/IP stack with a working TCP handler
    MorphOS has it?
    Yes it was in the User Startup!

    * some cli commands (filenote,delete,touch,requestchoice,requestfile)
    Are the part of the DOS?
    Guess so forgot to look for them inC:!
    * wget command in your system path or another path (setup required)
    What's the system path? Is that the C: Directory? exact path please?
    Copied into C:

    * mplayer for playing FLV files. mplayer must be in system path or
    another path (setup required)
    Again the C: directory?

    * rtmpdump (prefered) or flvstreamer in your system path or another
    path (setup required) - this is only needed for some of the supported
    sites.
    Not a clue for "rtmpdump"?

    The article above says to put the commands in the C: directory What C: directory? exactly the path?
    How do you copy files into the C: directory?
    How many C: directories in the OS?
    I see the files only by "ED" not by ambient?

    8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

    use only the cubed morph icon not sys:mossys, and c is in it
    rename rexxsyslib to rexxsyslib.library_old, and get the original 1.3-3.9 rexxsyslib search net
    (renaming may have to be done in mossys, but while there do not fool around)

    * go to user-startup and edit it with ed. add... mount tcp:

    * go to aminet and d/l wget, then place it in cubed C:

    *better yet just go here https://morph.zone/modules/newbb_plus/viewtopic.php?forum=9&topic_id=6391&sortname=&sortorder=&sortdays=&viewmode=flat&order=0&start=0

    There is a readme inside getVideo archive. Path to MPlayer and additional options can be configured in getVideo.cfg,

    You can set actions for MIME types in OWB settings (almost like in Ambient). This way you can view pictures via ShowGirls, load playlists into MPlayer and so on.

    You need to pass playlists with -playlist <path to playlist>.
