This isn't an official statement, but I'd seek for a solution than doesn't force such checks for everyone else. As an example the solution could be: Users under 18 are not allowed to use MorphOS in state of California.

Oh no, please don't do this, I already know how old I am!

The EU wants to go into the same direction.
Hopefully Linux and Mos don't care about that shit.

Whenever you're sad just remember the world is 4.543 billion years old and you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie.

MorphOS age verification will involve sending in a pair of used underpants in order to get a key to allow the system to boot. The underpants will be then used to train sniffer dogs to hunt you down should you become enemy of the state, as evidence of your present and future health issues to be sold to medical insurance companies, and potentially as blackmail should some tech bro want to break a trillion dollar bank account.

It's all for your own good. Please think of the children.

It should be noted that the MorphOS RegTool has a Date of Birth field section ever since it exists.
That it is not enforced to be filled out might also give you enough room to speculate on how many it actually did ...

Single-user operating systems are likely to become a grey area.
