When I open SBar settings and go to title bar prefs, a click in the string gadget of format of the screen title, the system locks up and I have to push the power button to reboot. I deleted SCREENMANAGER.prefs which holds settings from that string gadget and also SCREENMANAGER.cfg, rebooted and entered the settings - same issue. Any idea which other files could cause this lock?
It does not lock up when booted from the ISO, so it should be any of the config files.

Regarding Screenbars it is usually some third-party screen bar module causing issues.

It does not even matter if a screen bar module is active or not. So with those modules I would simply rename the entire sys:Classes/Screenbar directory and reboot to see if there is a difference. Then create a new Screenbar directory and move the old contents one by one with a reboot in between to find the culprit.

So it is the AppLauncher.sbar. When I disable it, the system does not lock up on editing the string gadget. I tried with the versions 2.2 and 2.5. I could record a crashlog using LogTool. CrashLog sent to Thomas.

Screenbars look simple, but they are incredible easy to mess up. :D

v2.6 will not have this issue. I guess Thomas will be uploading the archive soon.

I just tried to upload it to MorphOS Storage for several times, but after pressing "Submit" the progress bar shows 100% then the message "Sending mail problem" appeared!?
