As I mentioned above, I've tried all those tips, still no improvement though. Is there any chance the sumgem ethernet driver is being improved for 3.0, or wifi will be useable on the mini?

Just in case "those tips" refer to my six links above: They are a reply to what amigadave wrote (that's why I quoted him in that posting), not to your problem, so it's not surprising that they are of no help for you.

Not with MorphOS 3.0 and the Mini's built-in WiFi I'm afraid.

Thanks for the answer, wondering then if after 3 years we will see a remedy to the sumgem problems? Waiting up to 15 mins to log-in to an IRC server is a bit of a pain :( Reminds me of the days of booting from cassette on my Commodore 64!
