    Hi,

I tried to download the Feeble Files ISO's, but it stops after downloading 4 or 5 megabytes!

I installed Genesis as TCP/IP stack, but this gives the same result. (normally I use MiamiDX)

Anybody luck in downloading these two ISO's??

    Working here so far.
I almost have the first iso downloaded (I only get 2.5-4 kB/s from the "probably very overloaded" ftp so it takes quite a while...)
OnyxSoft - Amigans never surrender, they know they can do it better...

    Yeah,

That problem is from the very beginning! :-D
I just assume there are a lot of people downloading stuff. :-)

My problem is that after 4 or 5 mb's of downloading the whole stuff stalls and won't go further downloading.

    Hoi Stany,

Welk programma gebruik je als TCP/IP stack?
Valt het zaakje tijdens het downloaden ook stil bij jou?

In ieder geval zou je Genesis kunnen installeren, dan kun je de hele tijd online blijven! :-)

    Hello spidey

If you have command line ftp client, you can do the following:

    # ftp zargos.morphos.net
    [-login here-]
    > bin
    > prompt
    > cd <dir_where_files_are_located>
    > reget FeebleFiles_CD1.iso

the download should continue where it was interrupted, since zargos server supports resume.

You can use 'ls' at each directory level to see where to cd to.

    Ciao
    Alessandro

/me just sits back, relax, and waits for all the masses finish their downloads... Then I guess I will have a fairly reasonable bandwidth and I can finish my downloads in no time :-)

All the stuff can wait... Well, if it was the 1.4 image I'd try to download it whatever the cost is :-):-):-)

    Hoi Spidey

    Hi warface,

    You're absolutely right :-)

But do you think the bandwidth will increase? :-)

Forget it Command Line FTP doesn't work:

    Ram Disk:> ftp zargos.morphos.net
    Connected to zargos.morphos.net.
220 ProFTPD 1.2.6 Server (Debian) [zargos]
    Name (zargos.morphos.net:gerd): 88888888
    331 Password required for 88888888.
    Password:
    230 User 88888888 logged in.
    ftp> ls
421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection
    ftp>
It only works wir a Browser. But the Voyager Buggy Demo Version only
allows to use RAM: as destination for Download. For feeble files this
means you have to install first 1GByte of RAM: Or you could use
another Browser or make it on any PC :-(

Seems like a problem at your end, command line ftp works fine here (miamiftp & ncftp, both passive and active connections).

If you want to download to another location than ram: with voyager you just have to change the download path in mimeprefs, setting the location in voyagers prefs wont do it.
