Can anyone confirm a working scanner under
FXScan lite? I tried an HP5200C under the
    "BetaScan" driver and usbraw.device without
any luck. I am considering an Epson 1660 Photo,
since it's the only model I can find that is
listed as directly supported. If anyone is using
a scanner under MorphOS, I would like to know. :)

    2. I have a scanner, but haven't tried it yet. I will this weekend. *edit: I couldn't get my Visioneer One Touch to work* It's all I have to work with righ now...

    @Trizt

Please, just try again. You should see a reply shortly. If not, mail to the webmaster of PegasosPPC.com. If *That* doesn't work, please come back here and let me know.

I'm using an Espon Perferction 1660 Photo with my Pegasos and with FXScan (but not the lite version :p ).
All works, but I don't find how i can activate the lamp for negatif's photo...

If you take this scan, go to the site of iospirit, here : LINK
It's the procedure to install it on Poseidon, on the pegasos of course.

PS: 'scuce me for my poor english :)

OK, I bought an Epson 1660 Photo and still can not seem to get it to
work. I just get the message "unknown error opening device",
"communication with scanner failed". Any idea of what I can try? I
am setting "EpsonUSB.device" as a scanner driver and "usbraw.device"
as the device. It doesn't show any units listed in the FXScan
    interface.

Update: The rawwrap.class is bound to the epson scanner now.
FXScan still doesn't recognize anything on usbraw.device though. :(

MorphOS doesn't use the "iousbscanner.device" but
instead uses the "rawwrap.class" and "usbraw.device"
that is located in memory according to the faq on the
    iospirit website.

    @Senex

did you try the Tutorial 1, it's also available as .lha with all audio-files.
A quick search on aminet shows, there's also a second tutorial available! :-D

And there is a 4 part german workshop in the AMIGA plus 10/2002 - 01/2003! :-o

Is that enough for a start? 8-)

Anyway, I returned the Epson scanner and bought a
cheaper HP2200c model that works on linux. In
the meantime I will work on porting the "plustek"
sane backend to MorphOS so that I can use it
    on MorphOS too. :)

Yes, of course I had found the tutorial on the PSA homepage (thanks for pointing to the 2nd one), but I'd been rather thinking of a complete project one could just load and have a quick impression by just hitting "play".

Seems I have no other choice then to actually study those tutorials and also having a look at the A+ (thank you for the hint).

I'm still not able to download it.
Finally got my response to the password request - unable to verify
    your details!

    Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I've sent back a brief synopsis of my long-running saga, so hopefully
    that'll do the trick.

C'mon now, I'm not usually in every thread folks :-) I would feel like "Big Brother" if I was! Ok, I fixed the width of this page by making a certain LOOONG url a link ;-) Here is how you make a link:

    [ url=https://morph.zone]Linked Text[/url ]

Just remove the extra spaces around the brackets "[". That's all there is to it!

    Ask Dr. Stupid,
    Dear Dr. Stupid,
Why do we have to go to school?
That's a very good question. It's becuse your parents are
ALIENS!!! When your at school they shed there human skins and
    breathe drier lint! hahahaha!

send me your information privately (email/pm), and I will look into what is going on for you.

BTW, I verified that IBrowse2.3 (regged) does work with the PegPPC logins, but Voyager3.4 does not. It WILL be fixed. Someway. Somehow.

Can anybody recommend whom at Genesi to email about access
    to the Superbundle?

I applied on 1 January (and haven't heard back yet), but heard they had some problems with
registration...so perhaps they lost my information?

I had the same problem and emailed:

    support AT morphos DOT net

And it was sorted out within a few days

While I'm here, how do I get MorphED? I know it's available from the MDC but I thought it was part of the superbundle for non-developers aswell (atleast thats the impression I got from the Total Amiga review)?
