Yeah that got you clicking in here :-) as some of you probably know now ive recently given a Pegasos 1 to itix and one to Slummy! but there are more Pegasos1s out there from users that have used the upgrade to Peg2! ive spoken with Buck about this and he seemed positiv about the idea of setting up some kinda donation program where these boards will be shipped to "the right persons" (people that could be of great help for the Peg community) does anyone else here have any views on this? if so please dont hesitate to reply :).

I have upgraded my Peg1 to Peg2 and bought back the Peg1 from ComputerCity (without returning it) and later sold it to my friend...

    Bye, MarK.

I still would like to see the author of PostXfacto get one to see if he could port it to MorphOS.

Try to give one for some good emul coders group, like epsxe group or something and then we will get a lot of good games in Peg, i know this can take some time as they probably dont know anything about MOSAPI or or even MOS but maybe this can still work in some way ;-) .

I wish i can do that myself.

andy needs Tcl/Tk and opengl for the port and while there is an amiga68k version of Tcl/Tk i dont think tinygl will work........but i am not sure. so tinygl is not an implementation of opengl? could someone explain that one to me?

If I can exchange my Pegasos I to a Pegasos II G4 at my local dealer in the old upgrade terms and cost, then I think I'd offer my Peg I for the purpose. I'd even give the 128 Mb RAM away with it. :-)

However, I'm still waiting with my upgrade, until the situation clears or I receive official word that I can go ahead with that. :-)

My dealer now has stock of G4's, so say official YES, and I'll pay the upgrade price and donate my Peg instantly. :-)

It may be nice to have something like that, but the only way to play a Dreamcast disk on a machine emulated would be to use a Pirated copy of one. They have special GDROM disks. I dont think we should have an applcation that REQUIRES piracy to use it on our platform.

Piracy? No, you can buy the game and get a backup of it using a dreamcast with coders cable/BBA or use PD software, I don't see the piracy...

No, you still need to use tools that take the game and then to play it back take advantage of an exploit. Its not a good idea to supply a coder with a free piece of hardware to play games made like that. If a person has a Dreamcast they would use an emulator now would they?

Just make sure you contact Sega and get and get an official SDK from them. If you use the leaked one found from the internet. If you do any apps you build are also considered piracy like all the apps people build for the Xbox using the stolen SDK for that.

What does me being from the USA and you not have anything to do with this? Screw you and your attitude! i could care less if your from the USA or not. How dare you attack my country and myself for my personal views! Are you a child or something? I am just trying to make a point that the emulator will only run modified disks and it attracts Piracy. If you have a homebrew SDK then go for it! Good work on your part then.

About the free boards. I would like to see one go the the author of Frying Pan. I had no idea he develops on WinUAE and he deserves a real system to make his awsome app at a faster pace and native on out platform.

I'd also incist that Error (Tomasz Wiszkowski), author of Frying Pan, receives a free Pegasos. As I mentionned in another post and as Acill just mentionned, it would give him some real interesting programing experience and permit him to spend more time on much more important issues.

See the home page (may be under construstion):
