What do you think about this? This could make certain things a lot faster... Yes, It's named nvidia, but can be used an ATI graphics card for this? I don't like nvidia and I consider ATI cards better than nvidia ones...

I was hear that in 386 days one professor was working on liquifaction (the grond sometimes behaves like a liquid during earthquakes). The models were very-trig intensive and took forever on a desktop. So, he wrote the simulations in Postscript and sent them to the printer where its processor could do the work much faster.

    And Audio DSP? http://www.mtlc.net/main.php?a=Products&ShowFolder=291&b=All

Apple will make use of the GPU for graphics processing in their next OS revision.
Do you remember the MAJC (Microprocessor Architecture for Java Computing) CPU from SUN?
Well, the dualcore MAJC-5200 ended up in some of their highend gfxcards...

Well they are already making use of the GPU with Quartz Extreme. Core Image will just extend the level of GPU support.

I hope to have these things in the next version of the MorphOS' graphics subsystem ;)

Well, sweet dreams... :) I say: the first thing is a fully functional Ambient (DefIcons support, etc), then full support of the current Pegasos hardware (GBit ethernet, FireWire, IrDA...)m THEN shall they support other 3rd party hardware.
