Just looking around

Is it comparable to the AmigaOs GURU?
It has happend to me a couple of times and I can guess there are lot
of reasons why, but I think my worst enemy is just 64Mb of working
memory.

Another problem is when playing music in Aminetradio
the sound "slows" down when scrolling a window.

Any ideas?

the ANR problem seems be a MorphOS bug, i have the same problem sometimes on morphos 1.4, and anr crash when arent too bandwitch for get the stream ( huh? ).

But crash all system, and a rare noise sounds...( ?? )
Im using a voodoo3 agp card.

I noticed it too. Also in Kaya. Play a song then open the file requester to select a new song and scroll it down. Music will be slow. I think also when you move the Kaya screen around.

Do you happen to use a Radeon card? I seem to recall people using those cards having that problem.

I use a voodoo3 and I do have it, but not all the time. Oddly enough, after a reboot it's just fine, but after it's been up and running a day or two it starts to happen. (Overall performance degradation)

Yeah, Kaya can freeze my whole system, forcing a reboot. PSA also crashes a lot, although it doesn't seem to affect the rest of the machine. I have a Radeon 8500 & 384mb RAM.

This is an ANR bug, not MorphOS.
Workaround: don't use AHI unit, but the lib. You can configure it in settings->Audio.

Don't say MorphOS is buggy after !

This problem only happen with the Radeon. As far as I heard it's an ArticiaS issue.

No problem with Voodoo or SIS

lib? what lib?

uncheck Use AHI Musicunit?

check Swap Audiochannels ?
