    Hello guys,

    I read on a pc magazine that is possible to share the same partition for swap both on linux and windows. Could it be possible to do the same between a linux distribution and morphos ? I have heard that morphos 1.5 would give us virtual memory, so a swap partition will be required for this.

    That is correct My peg runs with 2 Linux installs sharing swap as are the Open Desktop Workstations! :-)

    @Brumiga

    Where did you hear the next MOS update will have Virtual Memory and a swap partition?

    Can windows use partition instead of file for swap? How? I'd like to get rid of swap file - the primary source of FS corruption!

    1. Firstly let's get 1.5 release and only then speak :-D
    2. Do you really need swap for MorphOS? Why? Are you planning to read whole DVDs to memory?
    iPod, iBook, iMac,... iRobot?

    If MorphOS 1.5 supports virtual memory, doing a FS driver for read linux swap partitions will can help a lot in that, so if you like that, start coding it!
