I'm trying to install MOS 2.0 to a CF card. Open Firmware can see my CF-IDE adapter and the card that is installed to it, but MOS HDtool doesn't regocnize the device at all :( When I open the format utility it only shows that CD-ROM would be the only device installed in IDE channels.

I don't get it that how Open Firmware can see the CF card but somehow MOS can't :(

Oh yea I have a PEG II

Got this answer from Ralph Schmidt in the mailing list.

    Quote:

Some IDE-CF adapters provide some different ID which isn't accepted
in the current 2.0 release but will be supported in the next bugfix release.

Oh well time to sit back and wait for the update :) In the mean time I can still use my trusty 10GB Quantum Fireball. Hate the noise on it tough...

Damn my trusty Quantum Fireball just died :( I was going to use it as long as there is a fix to the CF problem, but I seem to be out of luck :(

I have heard that there is already a fixed ide.device to correct this problem, so hopefully we can grab it soon.
