I've made an MUI Assign in Ram:T, but the script stops in line 136 with Unable to locate a file or drawer!

You need to create RAM:T/libs and assign MUI: RAM:T

There is a very simple solution to this.

You need to make two directories and a temp assign.

In boot0:classes/MUI make a directory called libs
inside this directory make one called mui

These are the directories that so many installers are looking for.

When you run install they usually ask for an assign for mui.
Make the assign boot0:classes/mui This is temporary.

The script will run normally from there.

Once done, move the files to boot0:classes/MUI/
    and have fun :)

I have AmiGift working ok on MorphOS right now,
first you need to open the file "local/gift.conf"
and change value of setup to "setup = 1".

After this I encountered an error message
when searching which has to do with some
experimental aminet support. I had to make
a directory in Daemon/local called "aminet"
and copy the config file into there, it is
working good on my PegII now. :)

You can try this fix from a shell:
    makedir AMIGIFT:daemon/local/Aminet
    echo "" >AMIGIFT:daemon/local/Aminet/Aminet.conf

Or get an aminet config file here:

    query...

Hmpf, I can't even load the bloody program. I've tried a manual
nistall and the suggested install as described here, but everytime
when i load gIFTmui it pops an error req, telling me it can't find
the lamp.mui class and the amigift.library, though I have them both
    installed. Suggestions anyone?

I have Amigift and MLdonkey working on
my Peg 1. I used Realstars suggestions
listed in this forum. I also had trouble
with lamp and other MUI classes.
    Maybe certain versions work better?
OR i was missing something in MUI.
I would be more specific if I could, sorry.

I had the same trouble with the daemon
until i set my sharing path in settings
and saved, then restarted the program. The daemon
pops up to reread the share drawer every
once in awhile, but only for a few seconds.
Amigift takes a little tweaking but
is working pretty good now. I even got
    a connect to gnutella.
