A current MorphOS mplayer will play the file just fine. You failed to say what you're actually using.

Indeed... Notice the complete absence of Genesi's SmartFirmware?

That's nothing to shout about, you can code any OS to run on any firmware you like, and we don't care.

As it stands Apple's PowerPC systems all run OpenFirmware, so there's very little difference all told. MorphOS really doesn't use OF after a certain point in boot (basically a few fractions of a second after it says Quark/OpenFirmware, it's done with OpenFirmware and has called quiesce)

There's been a considerable amount of discussion about PCI risers in PowerDeveloper.org, but not a clear "hey, I have this working" post from anybody.
Matt Sealey said that Adex Electronics has compatible ones, but there's a lot more to read before doing anything. It's not something that's been already tried and tested.

The Adex risers are tried and tested. You just have to order the CORRECT configuration.

The MPC5200B can support a load of 2 PCI cards on it's bus, the riser overcomplicates things, and needs to be designed a certain way to make it work. No such riser exists in the world.

You can get away with one card in a single-card riser as Adex sell, without problems. The smallest one they sell is exactly the same height (actually about half a millimeter too short) as the AGP riser. It will allow you to put any low-profile 3.3V PCI card into the slot and expose it on the Open Client back panel, for example.

It works on my Windows PC, but would not play on my MacBook via QuickTime. Strange.

Sorry amigadave... I explained myself in the wrong way.. Sometimes I speak as I'm still typing on my Peggy (I saw that video with it the first time using MPlayer) and yes, it works with Windows. I didn't realize you were trying to play it with Mac.. :-)

Quicktime sucks anyway. Get MPlayer for OS X.

    Yippieeee...

Bad Bramstedet was told, MOS2.2 the way this year to come. But still no Mac support.
MOS 2.3 will be when everything is running according to plan, perhaps even in the first quarter of 2009 coming. This has also a Mac support.
First, for all MiniMacs with PPC CPU and perhaps even later for iBook and PowerBook with PPC and Radeon graphics card. (about it but was not made clear statement because the developer does not currently own has iBook or PowerBook.) How Insane already has written to the Mac Mini lacks only sound and Lan driver. And the memory access was a MacMini with a 1.42 Ghz twice as fast as when Pegasos2.
A BlueRay video was smooth on the Mplayer played.

I myself had been a Mac Mini with 1.42 GHz 32MB graphics card. I still had the model with 1.5 GHz and 64MB graphics increased.

Source. I used Google translator as I don't speak German.

    Here are some pictures.

Well actually doesn't those USB-SCSI adapters actually act like a standard mass storage device, so it should work.

If it does not run MOS soon, it will end up as digital TV recorder. Linux is the king at that.
