BTW, how will you use the touchscreen, I mean, for what? Just curious!
The first thing that comes to mind is PPaint/Dpaint, have you tried paintprograms on PocketPC it feel much more natural except that all pocketpc-paintprograms suck.
The second is to control a musicplayer.(And maybe videoplayer when we get support for dualhead gfx-cards, touchscreen as a remote in the armchair)
Third touchscreens(or voicerecognition) are the future of userinterfaces, ever seen a SciFi-movie where they use mouse and keyboard?
Also I´m afraid of getting RSI. The more alternatives the better.
Last I really liked my Newton MP2000, the best thing Apple ever produced. I guess characterrecognition software is a long way off for MOS but all steps towards a MOS pda is good.
But for desktop use a larger screen would be better, ever seen those 15" and 18" Wacom Cintiq combined TFT-screens and drawingboards that some Mac-people have? but those costs a arm and a leg (3500
)
I simply like touchscreens, thy are cool
