Replace harddrive Mac mini

    I get strange errors on the Mac mini (lock up when unpacking and similar), i want to try to change the harddisk.. What are some good solutions in 2023 for this ? SSD possible ? Thanks!

    Maybe this Aliexpress msata adapter (44PIN MSATA To 2.5 Inch IDE HDD SSD MSATA To PATA Adapter Converter Card With Case) and a mSata disk.

    Like this one: msata disk) Kingston Technology KC600 mSATA 256 GB Serial ATA III 3D TLC

    SFS Doctor found some problems and seems better, but still would be good to get a new drive going :)

    look here. Chapter 5 - there are three functional possibilities of Mini HDD replacement. In Czech language.

    Of course, there are probably more ways howto do it.

    Also you can ask to Papiosaur if still he has SSD hard drives or adapters from his store.

    I had a Mac Mini back about 10+ years ago in which I bought a generic 44pin to mSata adapter and a 32GB samsung mSata drive. Worked great when I had it. May as well go to that now to replace the aging hard drive that is in it now. :)
