BTW, anyone managed to test the programme at all? I keep crashing my machine everytime I load a wav file. I'm also interested in how well the midid works.
I read something in the GUIDE that this library only works as a OUT midi IN And THRUE is not supported yet, you must read the GUIDE of this lib yourself, i'm not sure
Let me know when you try the update if the sound works good at your place
Then i really want to know how you did it
Will do, although as this is Hogmanay, the most important day in the Scottish calendar, it may be a few days before you hear from me, as I'll probably be gassed out of it for at least the next 48hrs.
Yes it does. It was written by Alfred J. Faust, the programmer who is currently (succesfully) converting Bars'n'Pipes to Pegasos. You can use it on a SB Live soundcard or on the standard Pegasos gameport with a MIDI interface. I think it is a custom interface, though, but Alfred designed that too. Ask him for the scheme, he will give it to you. You can also find him on the mdc forums.
While I don't know where to get a MorphOS native one I can tell you that the m68k one from http://heim.ifi.uio.no/~ksvalast/nsm/index.cgi?camd.khtml works quite well with MorphOS.
