Fair play to you mate, but I think solution which i described will be fair enough for you and interested users, how do you find that?

Thanks for the offer, but there will not be bounties or pre-orders/payments. With the current speed of progress, I am expecting to have everything compiled next weekend and hopefully even linked. Then there we be hardly a use anymore for a bounty since the majority of the risks of the project have then been tackled. And with the excellent help I get from you guys, I'm sure we'll tackle the last bits as well.

Well, some good news: it has compiled and linked and thus produced an AE4 executable for MorphOS! :-)

So, since I can't test it, I guess it's time for that hardware! :-)

There will be a demo version, but I'm not going to put the version I have now online since I'm about 100% sure it will crash at initialization and it has no pop-up menus.

I've added the pop-up menus. Now I only need to fiddle with CAMD and plug-ins.

It looks like there are some problems and Dave can not use my spare Peg2 at bPlan now.

Anyone there who would be ready to send his spare Peg2 (preferably Peg2) to him? I can arrange harddisk, gfx card and memory. So what is needed bare motherboard + CPU. Can anyone help?

While I'd be more than happy to help this project by sharing with my spare Efika, I'm not sure if its 128 MB of RAM will be sufficient for building AE4. Unless the computer will be used just for testing the builds, what I guess it'll perfectly do.

No reply from bPlan still. If Efika supports recording audio (I cant remember right now) it should be sufficent. Better than nothing.

    Hi Dave, all,

AudioEvolution, i bought it for my classic Amiga. An AROS/MorphOS version is great.
I understand Dave needs a MorphOS computer... I'am willing to give my Pegasos II or
Efika with MorphOS 2.5 for a while to Dave. So developing can goes on.
I live in Arnhem, the Netherlands, not so far from Dave, he is in Wageningen, i believe.

Although it's a nice gesture, part of the deal in lowering the number of needed sales was that I would get (to keep) a MorphOS capable machine. So loaners are no option I'm afraid.

Oh, and I'm near Rotterdam in the meanwhile, I've left Veenendaal 6 years ago. :)

Dave: as far as I remeber you never mentioned that you want to keep MorphOS hardware..

In this situation I can see only 2 solutions:

    - bounty for a hardware for Dave (Peg II or PowerMac when will be supported)
    - forget about AudioEvolution port for MorphOS.

Well, your own post said "He would consider lowering the amount of minimum licences meaby to 35 when we will organise him some MorphOS capable machine." What do you expect? The machine is equal to a number of sales. And I would need to support AE4 if someone finds a bug later on, so I always must have some MOS hardware.

You can also arrange a non-PCI machine, but don't expect to have drivers for semi-pro/pro sound cards from me then. If you can live with SoundBlaster or onboard sound, that's fine with me.

Why not? Let's set up a bounty and see what happens. Maybe we will gather enough money to buy a second-hand Peg 1 or 2 (G3 or G4), or (in a worst scenario) we will have to wait for PowerMac support (these machines are cheap as mud). But... could one plug any PCI sound card to a PowerMac?
