I know about DHCP clients on Aminet. I already downloaded all the sources, seems to be that only dhcpd is patched, dhclient compiles out of the box, at least for ixemul. Probably some patching will be required in order to build non-ixemul version. Moreover, that client is old, current UNIX DHCP package version is 3.2. I also downloaded recent source code and now i will start working on it. All other issues (except non-critical delayed ones) are solved!
As to you, try more applications now. Yesterday at 01:30 i enjoyed AmiNetRadio streaming an MP3 off my Windows Personal Web Server.

P.S. Of course i have a backup. Every evening i make a copy of my source tree to my ZIP100 disk and every morning i take it to work and refresh a copy there.

Still can't get Aminetradio to play shoutcast streams, get always "Playlist is empty". ATC gave with 0.7 some "..not implemented" log output by ezTCP, but that is fixed with 0.8

is it possible to use Bitlbee with ezTCP ? I've put the necessary line to inetd.conf and services, but the server doesn't start. According to Snoopium inetd.conf isn't read.

Yes, ATC works wthout any problems, I use it daily to update files on a web server.

Some news:
1. Partially built netlib (without level-1 I/O), this library is needed in order to build DHCP client.
2. Built "arp" CLI tool (in order to test netlib).
3. Rearranged directory tree. Now all files are placed in the ezTCP directory, they are no more scattered in the system.
Unfortunately, during rebuild i've broken something. Now kernel doesn't work and trashes memory. I was desperately searching for this bug the whole evening but found nothing. Will continue today. I beleive the problem is very small and stupid, but hard to find.
Since noone posted any logs of failing AmiNetRadio i assume everything works.

Thanks for the log. I think it will help. Unfortunately i can't simulate this problem since i don't have Internet at home. Next version will have more debug output enabled, i'll need your help with testing in order to fix this. Looks like UltraGelb himself is not going to help much and share information for some reason. :(

After very careful reading docs i discovered several potential problems with my socket events implementation. I'll fix them in v0.9. Socket is not set to asynchronous mode automatically and FD_WRITE is generated on socket which is not in non-blocking mode (the latter has nothing to do with ANR but anyway the bug exists).

Is there any way to keep the "bsdsocket.library log" window from
opening? Or even redirect the logging output into a file?

Both paths are usual DOS paths. The only difference is that CON defaults to CON: and LOGF defaults to PROGDIR:Log/Syslog (this is for new v0.9, before it was T:bsdsocket.log). All messages go to both destinations.
So in order to disable this window you'll need to add the following line to the general.config:

This window will go away and be replaced with a graphical syslog viewer as soon as i start GUI implementation. Currently it is just left as it was.

ezTCP v0.9 is waiting.
Note that directory tree layout completely changed. Here are new installation instructions (Stevo, probably you should add this to download description, i simply forgot):
1. Unpack the archive to any place you want. This will create ezTCP subdirectory with everything inside it. I suggest SYS: as a destination, but you are free to choose your own one, now it's not fixed.
2. Add "Path SYS:ezTCP/C ADD" (for example) to your S:user-startup. Then you can reboot for this to take effect.
3. Edit ezTCP/C/Startnet in order to suit your environment. WARNING!!! Remove all hardcoded references to C: (for example, replace C:ifconfig with just ifconfig) - it is my mistake, noticed right now, will be corrected in next update. :(
4. Edit configuration files in ezTCP/db. Or if you're upgrading you can simply move there your old configuration from S:netdb. Old stuff placed in S: and C: can be freely deleted them.
5. Run "Startnet".

Thanks to some little info on the algorythm provided by Ultragelb, i think i've found the bug. It is expected to be fixed in v0.10 which i'll produce on monday.
v0.9 is still not expected to work, sorry, there's one more problem i didn't discover yesterday.
