Genesi announces the development of a sub-laptop machine with the internal workname "4U2", based on the EFIKA 5K2 reference design and the Freescale MPC5200B.
The 4U2 will be produced in Asia and be available in Q2 2006. The 4U2 board can be deployed in a variety of configurations and uses and includes both mobile and WIFI wireless capability. It also uses the Pegasos HAL/OF, which enables many Operating Systems to the platform, like several flavours of Linux, MorphOS, QNX, etc.
I am so getting one! I cant wait for this. Just think about having MOS on the road to show off!
