MorphZone : : Forums Upgrade
Posted By: Targhan. on 2004/8/17 15:06:37
During the next few hours, MorphZone will be undergoing several security upgrades and forum upgrades. There may be a temporary loss of services, permissions, and other inconveniences.

However, this interruption will bring a wealth of new features to the forums.

(please note, the flags and some formatting may take a few days to put back into place)

1. Level, HP, and XP
2. _Forum Uploads_ (image attachments)
3. better email notification.
4. more....

It should be noted that this system is also being implimented on our sister site "PPCZone."

Hmm... folks, it looks like the private forums are completely messed up for now. If you are a moderator for a private forum (developer forum, demo scene forum, phoenix, etc), please contact me so we can make arrangements.

good job targhan keep up the good work.....one thing though......is it posible to have the topic before the forum like instead of "Genesi guest house - Free pegasos" it be "free pegasos - genesi guest house" you know what i mean?

like switch where topic and forum are on the front page on teh top ten......what do u think?

well, the first thing I had to do was "fix" the forum lists on the front page here ;-) And, as you can see, that was done today. I also need to traverse through all the image tags to put in a border="0" in all of them (and there are a lot of them, in a lot of different source files)..

Also, I would very much like to take Hooligan's suggestion (not in this thread yet), and put a page listing up for the front page.

Targhan, forums look nice. However, on the main page, can you swap the positions of the Topic and Forum columns? I think the first thing people want to look at is the Topic. I instinctively always look on the left first.

But now it's the forum name....
