Titler, the 3D title and animation studio for MorphOS, reaches version 3.1 — the biggest update since the one-window editor of 3.0.

What’s new

• Per-letter animation: Fade, Typewriter, Drop, Rise, Slide, Zoom, Pop, Spin, Flip and Scatter, with order, stagger and an exit that plays it backwards.
• Text along a path (arc, circle, wave or your own curve), outline, soft drop shadow and colour gradients — in the preview and in every renderer.
• 3D text shaping: several lines, tracking, leading, slant, weight and alignment.
• Presentation Wizard: an animated presentation from texts, pictures, videos and 3D models, with 16 entry and exit effects and ready themes.
• Motion presets, transition curves for every move (camera and lights included) and undo / redo of the whole scene.
• Templates with fields filled from a CSV table; rolls and crawls with one button.
• Rendering: physically based materials (metal, roughness, glass, glow, clear coat), HDR environment maps, bloom, lens flares and motion blur; transparent renders and batch rendering.
• glTF models (.glb / .gltf), and safer LightWave, OBJ and Collada loaders.
• Live mode in the player: a title on air over a key colour, driven from the keyboard or over TCP.
• Eight languages, a manual and a tutorial in eight languages, and thirteen example projects — among them NASA’s Hubble, Lunar Module and Ingenuity.
• Fixes: large scenes load again, menu crashes are gone.
