Thank you Papiosaur for this new pack and your time creating it!

Now that Grunch is part of the Pack Ultimate, are all of the program locations in the directories that the Pack Ultimate sets up synced with where Grunch expects to find them?

Or will I have to adjust the locations of where several of the programs are located within Grunch to have them update correctly?

@amigadave: i have added paths of the pack in Grunch (apps:, games:, emuls:, now all is synchronized

I have downloaded this for the first time. Installed in my Mac Mini running MorphOS 3.1 and although I had errors while installing, I was able to reboot the Mini and it did boot, looking much different that the stock 3.1 I just fresh installed last week.

I tried to install a 2nd time but get the same error.

After I select the locations where stuff is to install, meaning apps in applications, games in games, Emulators in Applications, etc..., and it seems to do its thing, I see apps extracting and all that scrolling on my screen, I get various screens I continue on saying the extraction was complete, but then I get to a Log Server window saying "Installer, Illegal Instruction, with today as date and User nobody. When I click the exclamation mark next to the error it shows Instruction at Address 0x6, no more information available message. 68K Exception in Task 0x245226a0 <installer>.

Now this screen when I close it takes me back to the Extraction is complete window but neither Continue or Abort Install button works nor can I close this window. I have to reboot the Mini to get rid of that screen.

So, I don't believe I am getting a full install. I seem to be missing games and emulators as I checked the list at http://www.meta-morphos.org/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=22 and I can quickly see I am missing all these games in the games folder and don't see where the emulators are so pretty sure those are missing to.

Problems I will have now?

What do you all think?

BTW, how can I get the Polynet Dock to go to right side of screen and be centered over there. Also I want it to stay there after reboot.

I moved the PolyNet Dock to the bottom of the screen successfully but it would not save after reboot and rides up about 3/4 way down the screen in the way.

So I would prefer it be moved to right side, centered, and stay put.

Any advise would be great!

Hi macsociety,

Normaly, instaler script ask you to select a &quot;partition&quot; to install Applications, Games and Emulators.

Ex: sys: work: ...

At the end of the installation, you must have Applications, Games and Emulators drawers in selected partition.

About PolyNet dock, edit the bar prefs with right click, click on down arrow then click on fix button then save all.

Sorry, it does not appear to be working or I am doing something wrong.

I have turned on the drag bar so I can see it on the dock. I then drag the dock to bottom of screen where I want it. I then click the Save all prefs button at the bottom of the window with my dock where I want it and selections in the window where I believe they need to be.

I then reboot and dock moves from bottom of screen to 3/4 down the screen.

So, Right Clicking the drag bar on my dock and selection Edit, then moving the dock where I want it, then clicking the Save all prefs button, appears not to work for me.

I will check into your other advice about apps and games and emulators folder but what is confusing, I have all these folders made. I am selecting them during the install process and telling the installer where I want these installed, so confused on why it would think I don't have these games and apps folders that I selected.

So even telling it to install into a new folder does not work. It only gets rid of the on screen error but the files are not getting installed.

Apps seems to insall fine. It seems to be games and emulators that does not get installed.

This is indeed what I am doing.

Not working though.

Maybe it is best I install fresh 3.1 and just slowly create my system as I like it over time.

I am indeed making sure it is selecting DH1: Applications, Games, Emulators, but the only success is the Applications. The Games and Emulators are just failing to install.

Sorry but that is what is happening to me.

Papi, I have the same prob with PolyNet as described by TJ up above. It does not save the new position after it was altered and the machine got a reboot. I am using 3.1 MOS + 3.1 Pack ultimate (not latest incarnation).

Did you have install Pack Ultimate 3.1.1 on a fresh install of MorphOS 3.1 ?

oops yes it does, it didn't work the last 2 times i tried and then it finally worked, i guess the servers were down, thanks !
