Software : : MLdonkey 2.5.30.15

After almost a year of slacking and forgetting about it we finally did a new MLdonkey release for MorphOS.

Because we didn't keep up with the releases for so long there are far too much changes compared to the old release, so we cannot list them all at this place. Please consult the ChangeLog inside the archive to read about all new features, bugfixes and other things of interest.

The archive comes also with an updated documentation, guardian.p2p and server.ini.

About MLdonkey:

MLdonkey is a multi-platform multi-networks peer-to-peer client. Originally, it was the first open-source client to access the eDonkey network. The protocol was 'reverse-engeneered' using an efficient protocol sniffer, Pandora.

Currently, with eDonkey, it supports severallarge networks, such as Overnet, Bittorrent, Gnutella (Bearshare, Limewire, etc), Gnutella2 (Shareaza), Fasttrack (Kazaa, Imesh, Grobster) and Soulseek. Direct-Connect and Opennap are not supported anymore with current build, this might change with further releases again.

MLdonkey runs as a daemon. It can be controlled using several interfaces like telnet or http. All these interfaces can be used locally, or remotely.

Get it from here.

of course, if someone does it. :-)

Good idea to make a bounty here. Just send some bucks to start one. And it's doable.. maybe 1/2 - 3 months of fun work for a more or less skilled MUI coder.

    regards,
