Software : : Frodo Update
Posted By: itix. on 2004/4/1 22:50:36
MorphOS enhanced version of Frodo is available for download.

Most important changes are:

- MUI GUI
- Colour preferences
- Joystick support
- Display scaling

From now on you can use your Catweasel or internal joystick controller with Frodo and play games by joystick. 2nd fire button is supported which is mapped to SPACE on C64 keyboard.

For display scaling MUI GUI can take an advantage of overlay and F12 toggles between full sized and normal sized window.

Download Frodo.
Download Source code.

Just wanted to says THANKS to itix! Full screen mode rocks!

I've found the best setting is to leave at full speed (no speed limit) and to set frameskip=2.

I ran into a small problem where I had a joystick attached to the gameport but did not enable the joystick in the GUI. This caused the numeric keypad emulation of the joystick to mal-function. This was fixed by mapping the joystick to port 2 via the GUI.

Yes! This is really a great update! Automatic resizing and filtering -- though it gets slow if you size the window huge and activate another window (the filtering dissapears and the mousepointer starts jerking).
