    Great Work Felix :)

A nice bugfix package and 6+ MB file to download :)

You should perhaps think of users who don't have full time
    connection...

Actually it can't get smaller. Since it is a patch from all previous V4 versions, it has to contain patches from each version (5) for each CPU version (9), PPC+x86 binaries(4), OCR binaries(9+4), etc. .. so, this archive contains 5 * (9+4+9+4) = 130 patches :) .. that is less than 50 KB / possible patch.

I first tried to do this the "classic" way with scompare and spatch but this would have given an archive more like 12 to 24 MB and would have taken a day or so to compute - so this is the first archive that features the new patchtool cpatch, which makes update-sizes smaller and the creation of update-archives less time-intensive and painful ..

    Best regards,

    Yeah you're right :)
I think the best way would have been to make patch from the binary from the CDROM (or original archive for download users) cause everyone own the same cdrom :)

but does everyone owns the same archive if he buy a download version?
