Wayfarer 6.1 is available for download from wayfarer.icu

- Downloads and network cache writes now use asyncio.library
- Adjusted SSL ciphers to try to default to ones that are faster on PowerPC
- Checks whether lo0 interface is enabled and warns if not
- Improved error handling in auto-updater

Please use the Check for Updates... function from Wayfarer's main menu to auto-update. It's faster than doing it by hand and will ensure all the right files are updated.

    @ jacadcaps - I've noticed very recently that on eBay the area under a main image on a listing for an item, there should be 2 rows of images for additional items to be shown, but there only seem to be 'placeholders' that automatically change from dark to light shading but no image appears where there should be additional choices where those items should be shown.

    And . . . also related to eBay, I can upload new images for an item to be listed, or one that is already listed, or one I used previously, but when I come to complete the item it never actually completes/gets saved. I can preview it, but it always shows the older photos if there were any listed if I utilise/re-use a listing, or none are shown of the ones I seemingly managed to upload. They get added to the unsaved data I send to eBay, but it just doesn't save the photos, and I end up having to use a Windows system to be able to complete the listing I am trying to input.

    I usually use JPGs as image data, as I am sure most people do . . . but a while ago I had an issue sending photos, as part of a complaint, to a seller as JPGs, and I ended up discovering that I had to use PNGs to be able to get the image sent to the eBay server - purely due to Wayfarer, as my Windows system was OK with the same JPGs I tried to use with Wayfarer, as they got transferred OK using the eBay server protocol.

    Are these known issues, and/or can they be fixed? :-?

    @NewSense

    Some screenshots would help, but it looks like the Canadian frontend is different from the UK one.

    OK I'll send you an email with some screenshots - of the placeholder issue.

    However, I can't really show the 'faillure to complete a listing' issue as it is just the initial page with the image and the details I input that don't get accepted by eBay for some reason, which seems to be related to the image data. :-(

    What the issue could be I have no idea, but I will try to upload the images on a listing as PNGs next time and see if that makes any difference. ;-)

    [EDIT] - I've now sent the email with the screen images of this issue to jacadcaps
