We strongly urge new users to carefully read our installation and troubleshooting guides before they attempt to install MorphOS for the first time. Existing users can upgrade via the familiar procedure but are encouraged to read the guides as well. MorphOS 3.17 is available for download in our files section.

    Hey-Hoh - you guys rock!
Now going on a short May cycling tour but it's great to know that once returned later in the afternoon there is a nice little surprise/present from the MorphOS team waiting to get installed.
Wish you all a great 1st of May!

    Great news!

Updated and confirm that classic amiga icons appear normal again.

Btw, system boots certainly a bit faster and I think I have some more free MB of Ram available upon booting too.

    Hi !
I have a problem with memory on my ImacG5, since I made the update to 3.17 : I have now 512 Mo of ram (before 1,5 giga).
Is it the same for ?

    Thanks !

512MB suggest that it doesn't see the DIMM at all as that is the amount on the motherboard.

So you might want to check wether it is not a HW issue.

    @kas1e

Radeon X1950XT is the best PCIe card with full morphos support (3d, fans, overlay), dualhead is not yet supported in 3.17.

Assuming that "PCIE1" means the lanes 4…7 with the x4/x1 slots (with "PCIE0" meaning the lanes 0…3 with the x16 slot), without PCIe adapter it would be the PCIe x1 versions of those cards:

    FireMV 2400 (RV380)
    FireMV/FirePro 2250 (RV516)

With PCIe adapter it would be the Radeon X1950XTX (R580+).

I updated MorphOS to 3.17 on my PowerBookG4 and I can confirm that in glReadPixels() function of TinyGL has been fixed. Image created using the function looks exactly the same as on the screen.
Thank you for all fixes and improvements in TinyGL.

I tried to make a break in creating these simple demos. Unfortunately I can't. :) MorphOS is very motivable platform for me. I very like creating these useless productions. So... some time ago I again temporarily paused creating game (also for MorphOS) and started next stupid demo. Today I am going to finish "core" of the second part of demo called "Morphever". :D
