Events : : Finnish Amiga Users Group's Saku 2019 Event on September 28th

Finnish Amiga Users Group holds its 12th Saku event in Oulu, Finland on Saturday, September 28th.

The event will feature many classic Amiga computers from A500 to A4000, FPGA setups like Minimig and Vampire, and next generation systems from MorphOS machines to AmigaOne X5000 with OS4.

There will be a demoshow on a big screen, several game competitions with prizes, and a presentation about the IBrowse 2.5 browser. One lucky visitor will also win a free copy of IBrowse. The latest Amiga Future magazines are available for reading, as well as older magazines from all decades.

Finnish Amiga retailer Gentle Eye will be present with some Amiga goodies, and the users group is selling its promotional products.

Admittance is free of charge. Saku 2019 will start at 14:00 on September 28th at Oulun Tetra ground floor conference room at Mäkelininkatu 31.

    1. What's new in MorphOS 3.12? ;)
    2. Can you share the backdrop of the iBook pretty pls? :)
    3. How does Atomic Bomberman works on OS4? Through DosBox or there is a native source port?
    4. How did you set up the dual compo on Stunt car? 2 Amigas linked with separate displays?

    Last but not least, you should feel very lucky that I am so far away to participate in a swos tournament :P

    3. I think Daytona675x wrote it from scratch for OS4, but did use the original graphics... but was this unreleased? Maybe so, but can't remember for sure now :) In any case we had it running on OS4 machine.
    4. Yeah, two A1200/030 in serial link and own video projectors. And using Stunt Car Racer Turbo to get more pleasant framerate. You can enter up to 8 players in multiplayer game in SCR, and game gives you 1-on-1 matches and calculates the points. Great multiplayer game for parties.

    I bet you'd beat us in SWOS..well.. we have couple pro players, but I suck in it for sure :)

    Thanks for the link! Asked when it will be released, hope it's soon enough.. We definitely need new games with massive multilayer feature for amiga parties. Be it on lan or under same system, doesn't matter imo. Just have new games to participate into..

    Well Daytona replied that it's a private release not for public consumption unfortunately. Pity, because I and many others I suppose could use it on amiga parties. Hope he changes his mind sometime in the future.
