My guess is that experienced programmers who know how to use "C" and/or "C++", can combine it embedded within Hollywood programs, or scripts to achieve better speed, on the parts of any program which needs a speed improvement. The versatility of Hollywood makes the creation of simpler parts of any program faster and easier (maybe), assuming that the coder knows how to best use Hollywood and can take advantage of all it has to offer.
One of the best things about Hollywood, is that it is actively being improved all the time, which is rare in our community. There are only a handful of programs that are updated with new features as often as Hollywood.
