welcome to the latest version of Calimero and though it is working much faster, it is still not working as well as it should .

I had a "lonely" "comma" on one line, which indicates word-wrap and hyphenation is not working correctly, or at least that is how it seems to me.

The ruler margins that were light grey, but as I started typing they now have suddenly changed to virtually black, though you could say they are a very very dark red, which happened after creating a header/footer on a page.

Now the header, after trying to save the document as a PDF, has suddenly decided to change colour to dark blue, but as I type, the header ruler margin has changed to a brownish colour with a green hairline just in from the bottom and the top of the edge of this ruler margin - this program still has a lot to go through before it is running correctly - I'd have to say this is clearly another Beta version (v0.13)

Text deletion, and cursor positioning also leave a lot to be desired, as you can never be sure where the cursor actually is, as sometimes it is on the line above or below, or some distance left or right, and sometimes it seems like at least 2 of those parameters from where the text starts to be written on the page. Sometimes keyboard cursor movement is not reflected in where the cursor is going to allow type to be input on the page. So the text input cursor may be at the top of the page, after keyboard cursor movement has been made, but the keyboard input does not happen on the page, so the mouse has to be used to "tell" the program where the text input cursor "actually is" - which is really frustrating, and I would have hoped by now that these type of issues would have been resolved, but it seems not as yet.

This is all within my first 3 minutes of testing this latest version. I am grateful for the work you are doing Carsten, but text input, and cursor positioning are a "must get corrected" before moving onto other enhancements, IMHO.

No sooner had I got that far, and copied the text from the page - which was not saved as a PDF, the program went into Meditation ! :-(

Only possible way to dedect your bug is to send me a screenshot

Thats behavior is unknown by me. Do you habe memory enough ?

This problem sounds like MUI -Problem. Before i test Calimero again, i must install the new MorphOS. There are any new things addet in the muimaster.library.

Text deletion, and cursor positioning also leave a lot to be desired, as you can never be sure where the cursor actually is, as sometimes it is on the line above or below, or some distance left or right, and sometimes it seems like at least 2 of those parameters from where the text starts to be written on the page. I update MorphOS before i test again.

After i update MorphOS, i take a look at newer bugs, the related to the newer MUI libs.

These issues are not related to MorphOS v3.8 as I had not been able to install it, as it had not been released at that moment.

I can, and will send you a screenshot, to your usual email, of the "meditated" GUI as I managed to save it before I got a crash/lockup of my system, which normally does not happen anyway.

    Ok.

After i install MorphOS 3.8, i see any little Bugs. Please test this
Binary. But be careful! Calimero is now adapted to the muimaster.library of MorphOS 3.8.

    Killed bugs:
+ No more "hang up" after working only with objects (No text at all)
+ No more optical "blinking" of any custom mui classes.
+ No more crash after trying to check spelling without text.

There a two or three bugs more, but i need more free time to fix.

I did a quick test, and though there are still problems, even with this latest v15.5.15 Beta of Calimero it did not crash or meditate or such like, so that is an improvement in itself.

I don't think I had any issues with the MUImaster.library even though it is intended for MOS v3.8, which I have still not installed, for the moment, though I intend doing so over the next week or so.

I was able to save a document as a PDF, but not as a .cald file, as that ended up basically a BLANK/EMPTY file, even though it ended up being saved as a file about 10k in total, but Calimero would not load whatever it was supposed to have saved, and only the Test PDF was/is saved of what the file was supposed to be, but the .cald file will not now load.

The same or similar issues with the header and footer still seem to be 'buggy', and there are still issues with the text cursor, which acts erratically in many circumstances. The margins still turns strange colours after being changed to a different colour from default.

In the header I made the text Bold, Centred, and Underlined, and when I moved back to the body of the document, it "inherited" transferred the Underlined featue of the text onto the text that was in the body of the document, that was separate from the header, and at the bottom of what I had written, so that does not seem to be working as it logically should, and needs fixing - buggy.

I have not sent you the snapshot, or PDFs of the documents as yet, as I am a little strapped for time, but I have them, and will send them over to you in the next day or so, as I don't think there is any hurry/rush at the moment for you to see them.

Yes, you must handle the margin colors with atention.

Yes a ugly bug . I fix it
