With current MorphOS 3.2 release, bounty for G5 port is beign closed. Mark 'Bigfoot' Olsen got transferred sum of 13550 PLN. Also Torcs bounty taken by Szilárd „BSzili” Biró is now finished as well. Sum of 681 PLN is already transferred to BSZili. Because the collected amount exceeded bounty goal, BSzili also prepared Speed Dreams port. Both ports can be downloaded from his website. MorphOS.pl also opened a new bounty for Return to the Roots port (www.siedler25.org). Bounty is available here. Thanks for all donors involved in past and future bounties!

Now we need accelerated Cairo, more G5s (PCIexpress ones and iMacs G5) and Asymetric Multi Proccessor support for MorphOS 3.4 ;-)

HW Cairo won't happen soon, I was trying to get someone to do that - doesn't look like an easy task to do so don't hold your breath. Do you really think that there is a need for more supported hardware?

Anyway, thanks to you guys we already collected 112e so BSzili made a small TODO list regarding port: http://bszili.morphos.me/rttr.html

Perhaps Krashan is interested in implementing Asymetric Multiprocessor support, maybe he needs some support from people working in MorphOS inner parts like QBox/Exec but I guess he would be happy to give it a go, that could be helpful with programs like MPlayer or Blender (and maybe games like Q3/RTCW?).

I think iMac G5 support and PCIe support could make easier finding suitable G5s and opens the door for more modern graphic cards, although I think HW Cairo support could be more necessary.

I don't think that anybody is working on the QBox or has worked on it for many years ;-)
What would indeed be necessary is support from people working on the Quark kernel as Krashan has outlined there:
