Once there were two computer clubs. The APC and the TCP. 20 years back (if anyone knows the exact date, please report), these two computer clubs joined together. Within a very short period of time, APC & TCP computer club, with nearly 500 members, grew up to one of the biggest Amiga clubs in Germany. APC&TCP then brought out one of the most common Amiga floppy magazines. The Amiga Fire and the follower Nocover. Since many programmers were a member, it was easy to distribute own software. To this end, in May 1992, the APC&TCP-distribution founded a trade partnership (Gbr.).
The goal was to distribute public domain, shareware and commercial software in a kind and way so the programmers had something of this. Thus, PD-disks have passed for a cost price of 1,- DM. The profit-sharing of 50% for the programmer was unusually high. Programs like CygnusEd, DigiBoosterPro, Databench and games like Flyin High and Pinball Brain Damage are only a few examples of our software. Besides a own shareware series and many commercial software, we were also working for various companies. We took care of the distribution of promoting games, create CoverCDs for magazines such as the Amiga Plus, Amiga Games, Amiga Special. For a short time we created the PD-series disks from Amiga Magazine, wrote reviews for various magazines, organized ticket sales for Amiga shows and much more.
In 1997, we have decided to publish a print magazine for the Amiga. The Amiga Future was first published by the ICP-Verlag, then by FALKE-Verlag and since issue 27 the APC&TCP-distribution also worked as a publisher. Now we released the issue 96 and the issue 100 is so close... Meanwhile APC&TCP also sells various Amiga merchandising products such as stickers, mouse pads, posters and much more. Now, after 20 years in the APC&TCP sales still exists. To celebrate this we have some special offers in our online shop. These offers are only available in May 2012.
