WTF is wrong with the mz.org ppl?

Seriously. Here is a new release of one of the most important things an OS needs these days: a browser. Sure Sputnik still needs tons of work, also especially in the styleguide department ;) but is that a reason to basically ignore this newsitem?

*Only* 4 comments for such important news? And 3 of them were basically about AROS.

So wtf. is wrong? Take a look at amigaworld.net where this Sputnik news got 27 comments even (prolly most of them asking for OS4 port i guess, didn't checked... but still).

    Just wondering...

    indeed!!
i was wondering?the very same thing!
but got to mention that in the "next sputnik release..." thread
there are some discussions and positive feedback about sputnik 4th beta.

i use this release more and more often, i really enjoyed it, its faaaast,
really fast, most of the sites i always checking are perfectly displayed
and its quite stable - really good to use:) with the fisrt 1.0 release
we will get a really good and modern browser.

but have to agree with you, mz.org is quite dead, the same 10-15
person write here from time to time, interesting threads
die except the "when mos2 will be ready?" threads.. but then,
just look at the mos2.0 release news - 22 comments by a month???

    Massive use of Sputnik..... ;-)
Sometimes, a request saying "the application went to drink a coffe.." (ok, ok... not real, but less sad ;-))
when I open more tabs... :-o And this even happened when I attempted to change MUI settings on the fly.
Close Sputnik, open Sputnik and all went in the right direction 8-)
I repeat: little bugs for a beta version and

    quote tokai:
Sure Sputnik needs tons of work

    @ All:
Thanks God, someone is doing it!!!!
    Go Marcik!!!

I think that most of MorphOS users is waiting for the next
version of mos to come out. Sputnik is very nice, but there are some
that have bought Efika which cant use MorphOS atm.

Sputnik is nice though. Go marcik!

    @morphdelf:

Here in germany we have a saying which goes like this: "Besser den Spatz in der Hand als die Taube auf dem Dach." (in english: A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.). Basically why always wait for tomorrows stuff/ releases when you can enjoy todays stuff already. It's not like Sputnik is MorphOS 2.0 only. ;-)

ppl here are often lazy :). Mz.org site is a lazy site so we see a small amount of news & posts. Oh well, it seems that ppl are more active in their native language f.ex posts about morphos2.0 in q2: amiganews.de: 110 ppa.pl: 112 (+ 51 posts in 11111 :)). So, my question is: wtf are morphos english users? :P

"Besser den Spatz in der Hand als die Taube auf dem Dach." (in english: A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.)

And precisely: "A sparrow in the hand is worth more than a pigeon on a roof"
Btw. didn't konw that "Dach" means the same in Polish and German as well.
    Until now :)

No, tokais translation is far more precise. You can't simply translate proverbs word by word if you seek to preserve the meaning. It is possible that a certain proverb doesn't even exist in the target language (not in this case though).
