What you see here is a seventh release of (in)famous MorphOS image browser, viewer and processing application. Bringing new features, speed improvements and bug fixes. Read more for complete list of changes.

New Things:

- Sharpen operator is now realtime and allows much larger mask sizes (with which it works like local contrast adjustment). All thanks to algo optimizations:)

- Selective blur renamed to "Noice Reduction". Added sdelective median mode.

- Batch resizing/recompressing tool.

- Improved group balancing object (browser doesn't change size when window size changes). Got rid problem causing BetterBalance class.

- Faster (up to 30%) JPEG decoder.

- EXIF information is preserved when performing lossless rotations.

- Overlay system, allowing to display additional information directly on the image (Name and EXIF tags for now).

- Higher quality of text shadow.

- More AREXX commands added:
+ BalanceRGB
+ BalanceHSV
+ AdjustContrast
+ AdjustGamma
check manual for params and description.

- Speed improvements in various parts of code.

- ..some things i forgot about.

What's fixed:

- Invalid memory access when starting with invalid path.

- Thread termination in thumbnailer module.

- Selecting image in browser when it was invisible (on window/screen change).

- EXIF information window apears immediately when enabled in menu, and not only after
new file is selected.

- More robust handling of EXIF tags. Was crashing with some (invalid?) files.

- Saving cache images. Could produce bigger than needed files.

- IT was impossible to scroll picture after cropping with manual mode ON.

You can download it HERE

As always all suggestions and bugreports should be sent to wozniak_m@interia.pl.

that would be good :), but its also easily made with a couple of arexx lines

I like the slideshow they have in xbmc, where the images float on the screen slowly
and a little fade in/out effect when shifting images, would fit right in with the high
    quality showgirls currenly holds :)

I also wonder why zooming is 'slower' in non 3d mode, in 3dmode i can zoom as fast as i can
roll this shitty scrollwheel with no jumping in zoom but in non 3d mode i see jumps in zooming,
like 1-2cm top image is zoomed in stages, like it cant zoom this fast, but as i said, 3dmode
    enabled and it flies.
I like to use 3dmode because of this, but it sucks when i cant reset 3d movement, and i cant
view image fullsize and move around in image.

But its a d.amn nice piece of software :)

Heh, I always wondered how to fit back an image to the display area after I rotate it and zoom it in/out in 3d mode. I thought there is an option or a key shortcut I don't know about. Now I know there isn't any (yet) :-D

I miss draggable screens... and do you? I know I'm in a minority unfortunately.

There is. Try to use 0 (zero) button on the numpad.

    @ Chain-Q

Damn! Why I didn't hit upon such an idea?
But you have to admit it's a bit wired key shortcut, especially if it's on the numeric pad.
On the other hand I admit I didn't read docks

BTW is there a way to hold down zoomed in picture with mouse and move it to uncover parts out of visible area (in 3d mode)?

Not that i know. AFAIR kiero explained this with how 3D view currently works. It's still a quick hack. :-) But maybe it will change in future releases.

I never saw in the istructions file or found by myself a key to enlarge entire image to fit entire screen or window closing thumbnails on the fly, without choosing it from menu and opening it by default...

Just a key to do it on the fly just at the moment...

Hope I was clear with my poor english...

I'd like very much that Showgirls will became something robust just as Irfan View or ACDSEE on PC machines... Or perhaps better than... 8-) :-)

doubleclick on display area will toggle fullscreen/window mode (you need to have it enabled in prefs. last page, first option).
