    Anyone else tried SMARTDoctor v1.0?

I only get the GUI to load up with virtually all the gadgets 'ghosted-out' apart from the 'select device' available, but this gadget does nothing, and even the MUI iconify gadget does not do what it is supposed to do as it just reduces in sze, and the top line gadgets, apart from the iconify gadget disappear, though if you click where the back-front gadget is it does work, and then re-appears, as does the normalise/minimise gadget, but I don't get any further than that, and then my system starts to go inactive, and nothing else is useable, so I then need to re-boot my system.

Is the author aware of this problem?

As the software appears to be unusable in its present state.

It does only work with ulsata2.device atm, so with a sata2-pci-card.
On any other device, the GUI is ghosted. I wrote the tool for ulsata2
and released some infos so other device-drivers may also support
a simple SMART-interface in the futue...

I wasn't able to reproduce the problems you mentioned,
but maybe something is messed up here...

Edit: Please post the list of devices running in your system.
Open a shell an type: "devlist >ram:post.txt"

Ahh! I thought it worked on ANY SMART HDD, so I was just trying to see what my SMART enabled HDD was behaving like, but I suppose I'll have to wait for a later version, if you have anything planned to support just the ide.device for a Mac Mini, which is what I have my MorphOS system running on, pity.

THANKS for picking my post up so quickly, and hope you manage to do an update that works better, or even supports the ide.device on a MacMini IDE interface

I will add more features but i'm not a mos-dev, so support in ide.device is not in my hands.. :)
