I'm looking for someone with a machine with 64 meg VRAM to do a little testing. What is the maximum texture size for TORCS which is still playable with 64 meg VRAM? I mean no glitches and hitches due to running out of VRAM, not just the framerate.

I was thinking about which game could make use of the newly added texture compression support, and it occurred to me: TORCS. It has some large textures, especially for the terrain, and thus suffered badly from blurry textures on the most common MorphOS hardware.
I'll merge my changes with the latest version (1.3.6), and recompile it with the latest SDK. Buckle your seatbelt.

Well, this didn't exactly work out. Unfortunately the texture compression produces artifacts in the textures.

I just tested OpenJK too, and the texture compression still produces artifacts there. It looks like MorphOS 3.9 didn't fix all of the texture compression issues :\

Just to confirm, the texture compression artifacts are still there on higher mip levels in 3.10.
