Probably he decided to read the famous "X1000" AW.net forum thread(s) in one go. I guess nobody could do that and remain sane. ;-)

I'm so glad this is just a joke thread. @ kickstart Only Amiga makes it possible - to have this much smoke blown up one's arse.

If X1000 ever sells as many units as Pegasos1, Pegasos2 and Efika combined, it might be considered, otherwise it doesn't make much sense to support hardware that has been produced in microscopic batches and didnt pass the hardware sample state :)
    >Amiga< X1000 is a bit misleading btw, it's AmigaOne X1000, after all :)

@ kickstart Yup, I know. I wasn't having a go at you, my comment was about the 15 year (and still counting!) streak of bullshit - Amiga name ownership tussles, various fake hardware announcements, real hw that probably shouldn't have been etc. Although, despite the x1000 teaser rubbish, the current outlook is better than it's been for most of that time.

Haha the whole AmigaOne x1000 naming is quite funny, but my favorite is that it will retail for the price of the ORIGINAL Amiga 1000.. thats kind of unusual...

Well, personal issues aside, i'm just pretty sure that it will NEVER happen.
I'm currently considering to move on anyway, so it's just my 2 cents to this and not up to me.

You are considering "moving on", like leaving MorphOS and the MorphOS Development Team?!?

I hope that is not what you mean! That would be a terrible loss to the team, so I hope it is not true and you meant something else with your statement.

I wish there was less emotion and more businness in the communities MorphOS/OS4/AROS ...

Amigaworld.net ... I usually stop reading after the first 5 posts, whatever follows behind those 5 posts is mostly whining, spamming, trolling and more bad things that make me loose interest. If I want brainless "soap" ... I go watch Neighbours, Days Of Our Lives or even worse: Bold And The Beautifull

I do have an interest in OS4 an X1000 ... but it would make my hobby a fairly expensive one compared to fiddling around with MorhpOS and the option of using an old MAC.
