Hi there,

Since quite some time more and more MorphOS and AMIGA people join Twitter. Twitter is a micro-blogging service and many MorphOS developers and users make use of it to communicate with each other and share up-to-date information about projects; f.ex., I often post information or announcements about my releases on my Twitter profile before I post them elsewhere.

Twitter streams can be easily feed to RSS readers too; which allows you to stay informed about current happenings much quicker and more comfortable.

I have resisted finding out what Twitter was all about, not wanting to start using it, but if I can get up to date info about my favorite OS that way, I guess I will check it out.

I recently purchased a Mac Mini 1.5 to run MorphOS...but it won't be until next year when I get to use it (and purchase MorphOS) since I'm in Europe and it's in the States. I do, however, plan on supporting MorphOS with AmiTwitter (and developing other apps) in the near future.

Twitter is going commercial (will add advertisements). Anyway I've got bored with it some time ago and deleted my account. IRC is much more fun .

I'm one of those who thinks that the more communication, the better. But I've never, never understood why such a l33t group as the MorphOS Team agreed to use something as lame as Twitter.
