You arent being a little girl. I think its time for Genesi to reveal details and a prototype of the Peg2. It is almost Septemeber and we all have very little info.

But seriusly, I don't expect it to be available for purchase already in September. This is just my personal speculation though and I would like to be proven wrong!

a lollipop.....well that might hold me over......but i still think that some specs for the peg2 should be released.....i would have to see genesi pull an amiga inc and keep everyone in the dark for far to long.......

First leaked detail: Pegasos II will be a computer. Not a settopbox ;)

Second detail: It will run under MorphOS and Linux

Third detail: It will be [whatever]

What's all this whining about here? :)

Details are already made public by Genesi Germany (bPlan):

Peg2 will be an update of Peg1:

- no articia, but marvel
- no sdram, but ddr ram
- (1?) gigabit etherent port

the rest won't change. :)

I wouldn't expect it still in september, too. Because the HW guys, Gerald & Thomas, said on german TV "rather end of september" it would be finished. But I guess for them, the developers, this "finished" might rather refer to "final design ready" than "available for end users at the dealers". So I'd rather add a few weeks of QA before expecting the Peg2 on the shelves for everyone.

/me longing for the day that Genesi realizes that their over-optimistic announcements, especially regarding dates of actual releases to everyone, hurt them more than benefit...
