For free or not, I'm ready to donate/pay a price.

But if someone insists that I have to have it for free, then what can we one do? :-)

Would love to have Robin Hood or Northland (which might be easier, considering there was work done on it already) however if Genesi is going to intervene somewhere they should perhaps consider facilitating Sputnik instead.

So the Compiler issues has been resolved? Not that I want to sound to sceptical,
but according to the involved individuals, this has been the biggest obstacle
so far. Nevertheless I would be verry happy if this got sorted, Robin Hood would be a
nice game to have, although I prefer (and wait so long) Northland ;)

If the compiler issues would be solved, that would be great, obviously.

I just don't think that IF there should be money available to be thrown towards the MorphOS community, spending it for this would be the #1 priority to push anything.

The game in question would be a top one for MorphOS and thus be bought by many users (me included) anyway.

Thus my 2 Euro cent would be to better fund the MorphOS Team directly to boost the general development or (given that the browser problem appears to be solved soon by Marcik) Titan Computer instead to motivate them to continue work on the MorphOS port of Papyrus.

Of course it sounds nice if one could get a top game for free - but I don't consider the main problem of the MorphOS "market" just being users too poor to buy the software titles they want.

It looks like a great game, so where is it and when can we try a demo?

Also that linked Northland game looks fantastic! Will any work on that be done?

    Hooligan,

SEUCK only made little progress on the last weeks as I was working on a number of things at the same time: :-)
SEUCK, some Linux server projects, MySQL, Robin Hood for PPC Linux, Robin Hood for MOS, MOS PowerSDL.

Robin Hood for MorphOS is quasi finished.

Gabry Greco did the MorphOS port a long time ago.
FYI: Gabry is the original author of the Amiga SDL port.

Robin is ported already, 99,99% of the hard work is already done!

Robin Hood runs on MorphOS now,
only two small things need to be fixed.

    a) PowerSDL is not 100% compatible to the original SDL.
Because of this, this game (and others) will only work correctly on a selection of GFX cards. But this is a small thing and can be fixed very fast.

    b) When compiled with GCC 2.9 Robin runs not stable on MOS.
This could be compiler issue or a simple bug.
Its a bit difficult to fix this without a debugger on MOS.

I'm hoping that one of the MOS core guy will give me a hand.
With some info about/help Robin should be ready for releasing in a week.

I know that Thomas Steiding of RuneSoft is a big MOS lover.
He would love to provide the MorphOS users with a new game.
IMHO this game will surely be one of the best games ever released for Amiga.

    Cheers
    Gunnar
