The private betatest for MorphUP will open soon. Beta-versions will be avail to people who have donated to the project.
If you are one of them and if you are interested in getting a beta-version you should do the following within two weeks...

    How to get the beta:
    1. Download http://member.ycn.com/~hausrup/cache/hwid.lha and run in a shell.
    2. Send a email with subject "*** MorphUP beta ***" and the following contents to naTmeg@gmx.net
    - The 2 lines shell-output of hwid.lha
    - The name used for donating to the bounty
    - Optional username/realname

All interested people will get mail in about two weeks...

Though I did not yet donate to this bounty, I am more than curious how you have brought this cool concept to MorphOS, and how it will work on it. Will be looking forward to the public release. Good work!

This is not "public" then... This is private beta-test...

    Leo.
Nothing hurts a project more than developers not taking the time to let their community know what is going on.

Uhm, wouldn't it be easier to just have me put up a private forum for beta-testers (with file support naturally)? And this would be considered a "private" beta test ;-)

also, when the beta is ready, do you want an entry in the DevTracker?

Oh, sorry if i was wrong here. So it's a private betatest. A private forum sounds not bad, may we could use that...

Then it shall be done! I will sort through the donors, create a user-group based on them, create a forum, etc sometime tonight. What filesize limit should be set for such a beta-test group forum in your opinion? Should be large enough for both the beta executables and any logfiles that you will want generated.

Okay, working on the access list for the beta area. I need to find out who "jchap" is and "mahendra" so that they can be added to the access list and be properly credited for their donations.

Also, I think 10M may be a bit big, but I can set it at that and hope we don't blow anything up ;-)

    I'm Mahendra ;)

However considering the low amount I donated I feel a little ashamed ;)

I kind of guessed that you were Mahendra, but around forums one never knows for sure! ;-) And, there is absolutely NO reason to feel ashamed, you gave what you could! Remember, even someone who donates one dollar has donated more that zero. Even someone who donates artwork, or some other form of labor, has also donated something to the cause. Even things as simple as a "good idea" are appreciated. With that said, I, and everyone who will eventually benefit from this package, is, and should be, appreciative!

@mahen: check the topic listings, you should see the MorphUP beta welcome topic!

@naTmeg: the private forum and group has been formed and are up.

I didnt put anythig in, I still feel since i am a moderator its not the best idea to put money in a bounty since I cant do it for all of them. I would love to beta test though if I could.
