As the topic says I've decided to give up the ezTCP bounty. I'm not able to finish it in any reasonable amount of time for personal reasons. So the bounty is now free again. I also cancelled all my other projects like Reggae, TTEngine and some small unfinished programs.

    Thanks to morphos team

MorphOS Team has nothing to do with it. I'm just getting older, my brain is getting weak. Also work and family consumes my all free time. Hobby programming is good for students.

If your donation was less than 60 days ago, I can simply hit a "refund" button to have your money returned to you. Otherwise, we will have to arrange something in some way or another.

Krashan has donated the sources to MorphZone, and we have them here should another developer pick up this bounty.

With that out of the way, thanks Krashan for giving the sources up so that someone could start from somewhere other than scratch. I hate to see you go, Krashan, but please continue to post on MorphZone whatever you do in the future.

While it is a bad news I wish that you will be able to stay around while keeping care of your family. You have proven to be a very valuable developer for the MorphOS community.

As for the bounty: users have the choice to keep the money there in case someone else is interested or move it on other bounties or use it to create new bounties or even take it back (minus the paypal fees).

No, it isn't. I've sent the sources to MZ administrators, they will do whatever they think is right.

if it is less than 60 days, I beleive the fees are not taken out. and as long as there are not too many refunds, I can adjust those fees from the general fund (as long as it lasts).

    [edit]
@Catohagen: Your refund should be completed, at least paypal says it is ;-)

Well, I hope you stay with us at least as an user and come here from time to time :-) Family is a priority.

As you are stopping development what will happen with TTEngine and Reggae? Do you plan to pass the project to a friend of you? Your work in both projets is greatly appreciated and it would be nice to hear that TTEngine and Reggae aren't dead...

amen. flowers for the wife and candy for the kids is always a plus. I'm just glad that it was within that 60 day window, otherwise it would have taken a bit more math to make the numbers all correct...

Seriously, I do not hold it against anyone that wants their money back. I do not use my paypal account for very much other than the bounties. Thus, all the money donated is still in that paypal account, and it will not be going anywhere until bounties are paid or refunded.

Please keep in mind that the higher the bounty, the more tempting it is to get another developer to work on a tcp/ip stack!

We will miss you, you are one of our best developers :-(
Its a blow to the community.

Thank you for all your hard work...

But why cancel ALL projects? Surely you will work on some stuff?

    Oh yeah, refunds:

all the more reason to include your username in the donation/email! Your username makes it easier for me to find the proper donation to refund! Catohagen included his username, and so I was able to quickly find the information regarding his donation. It's easier to give credit, it makes including people in beta lists easier, and it makes refunds faster.

(psst. thanks catohagen for including your username in that original donation!).

please remember you can move your donations to other bounties, just post a message, email, or pm me. there is ezpm and sshcon, and probably another couple on the way.

I'd rather Krashan keep the money I donated, whatever the outcome.

Thanks for your work, Krashan. But might I suggest to rethink again if
you wanna give up really *all* of your projects? Take a break and
readjust your priorities. I don't wanna give "wise advices" but, well,
I think Reggae is really promising, keep that project for a while for
you. If you keep on being annoyed by programming and keep on not
having the time, it is still possible to release that project.
Anyway, it is your decision and I guess noone can track your
    priorities better than you yourself...
    priorities.

Good luck for your real life iussues, Krashan, and take care.
I still hope you'll eventually find time (and motivation, I guess) for the other projects (mainly Reggae, but also TTEngine).

    Kind regards,
    Andrea
