yesterday evening i have used on my amiga Genesis 1.07/AmiTCP 4.7 to connect to internet. at one moment i want visit a secure page but i obtained an error message because Genesis/AmiTCP does not provide an SSl layer. will AmiTCP 5 provide one ? will it come with Morphos 1.5 release ?

Its not as easy as to just supply an SSL interface and all browsers magically use it. The browsers have to be adapted to use the new interface.

Better you use the existing SSL layers: AmiSSL V1 for AWeb, AmiSSL V2 for IBrowse and Voyager has its own SSL built in -- well, at least the full version.

Hmm, where is Genesis 1.07/AmiTCP 4.7? On Aminet I see only 1.04 version. 1.07 is public?

i typed too quickly, it is of course Genesis 1.0.4 from Aminet. i also have AmiSSL 2.2 installed and checkmarks "activated" for SSL 2, SSL 3 and MiamiSSL in IBrowse 2.3 and under it SSL works fine if i connect with both Miami and MiamiDx.
