I bought PS2 USB controller adapter from play but it doesn't seem to work...

I don't blame play, just thought myself it might work, becouse it doesn't require special drivers on windows (or that's what my friend told...)

If you like the look and feel of the PS2 pads check out the Logitech game pads out now. I got a black one that looks and feels just like a dual shock. Its the same shape, and has the same buttons pattern even. Best of all it works on everything I have used it on so far. As an added bonus I only paid $15 for mine new at BestBuy here in the US.

    I have a 2 way PS2 - USB adapter.
Both Ps2 joypad can be used under MAME on MOS :D

I have only sometimes strange problems of latency ... I cannot say if it's a problem of MAme or the connector or the USB stack.

I also used my PC gamepad:

It run wonderfull on MOS! (the analog joystick too)

Did you try to bind it to rawwrap class?
Maybe this will function. Have you also tried to boot
up with the connector already in the Pegasos?
My external HD refuses to work sometimes when
i turn it on while the Pegasos is running.

    Just a thought.

    Bye

    Sphinx_Ra:
If you select "Track incoming events", You are able to press a button, and it will be directly selceted in your Poseidon prefs. Then you can set every Button just as you want.
