    How to program the parallel port under AmigaOS/MorphOS to communicate with non-printer hardware?

    parallel.device should allow both reading and writing.

    That's not an answer to his question. He asked how to program the parallel port. Your reply doesn't help the least. I don't know how to program the parallal port either (via parallel.device). Please don't reply if you cannot help.
