hi guys im stuck here i just cant get the pegasos to share correct
with my 2 pc on a network from windows. i have installed samba and
tango and demo from miami. can some one PLEASE make a guide how to set
it up right. i just don get it right from the docs etc. (i know im the
stupid one).
hope you guys can help me out here .

when u installed it like described in the documentation then just load up http://localhost:911/ in your browser and use SWAT to configure samba. It's the easiest way.

There is also an Samba Installer, if you absolutley have
no luck to set the thing up.
BTW, if you just want to have the PC Drives shared
on your peg (but not the other way)
Samba is not necessary, a tool like smbfs is enough.

Just a note, currently you can't write to the Peg from a PC with Windows 2000 or XP, because of a bug in the latest version of SAMBA working in MOS (2.0.7, not the gcc compiled ones).
For reading it works fine, but for writing I use rc-ftpd instead.

I still have no idea why the new bugfixed versions of AmigaSamba wont work in MOS =(
They work fine on my A4000 with AOS 3.9.

hmm.. i don't had this problem. worked well here (writing to the peg).

well i tried to get genesis working but i cant get it right to get online with it. my peg is connected trhough my 2 pcs with the net. so my second pc is the host for my peg etc. im online with miami. but its the demo version. and i want to get it online with genesis to so any help is welcome.
