ScoutNG does not work

    I can not run ScoutNG 1.5 (from icon). If I try to run the application from CLI I see this error message:
    'ObjC: no valid class structure found for cl OBURL"

    Is it only my problem? Could I do something?

    Sounds like your MOSYS files are outdated. Reinstalling 3.17 ought to fix this (just apply the update again).

    It is very strange . I don't touch MOSSYS. Maybe I have is SYS something what overrides something in MOSSYS...

    I will try the update after backup. :)

    Very interessting. I try to use here Scout V1.5 (25.09.2020) from MOS 3.7 ISO and installed MOS 3.17 on a G5, but I get following error-message:
    This Scout built is bound to MorphOS 3.14/3.15!
    Peg2, 3xPowerMac G5, 2xPowerbookG4, 2x MacMiniG4, Efika (again), A3000T and life is never boring.....

    I updated MorphOS 3.17 from USB but ScoutNG still doesn't work. :(
    On clean MorphOS 3.17 (run from USB with MorphOS ISO image) the problem also occurs.

    Unfortunately if I run my PowerBookG4 form USB pendrive (clean system from morphos-3.17.iso), result is the same.

    ob.framework in MOSSYS:Classes/Frameworks is outdated

    This means you are booting a 3.17 installation but using an older boot.img

    No, boot.img is 3.17 too! (as you can see in attatched pics).
    Otherwise I would also run in troubles with Wayfarer ......

    Scout (the one in the Tools directory, 1.5) works here (pbook). But it seems I have an older Scout (1.2) in my Utilities directory and that gives the "ObjC: no valid class structure found for cl OBURL" error (for what it's worth)...

    Problem resolved! Scout NG works on my machine. :)

    Scout 1.5 (2020-01-12, 1036932 bytes) from MorphOS Storage doesn't work.
    Scout 1.5 (2020-09-25, 346270 bytes) from Tools directory of MorphOS 3.17 works.

    My problem is'nt solved - both versions dont work here...(or on any other machine with MOS I own.)

    Found out, that there seems to be 2 versions of Scout V1.5 (both built 25.09.2020):

    Right Scout does'nt work, while left version runs well........What's the difference.....??

    As the requester states the old version is bound to older MorphOS version and will not run on 3.17.
