    Hi laios,

if your ADF has a Amiga filesystem, there is normally a Disk.info into the ADF (in the root). This file is the icon of the disk.

You can change it copying a new Disk.info different over it.

If you ADF has no icon, Ambient take a default icon named def_disk.info placed into sys:prefs/presets/deficons/

You must change it if you want another icon for your ADF.

I found in the Ambient Settings - > Mime the x-adf entry for the adf files I tried there to change the icon association for the ADF . But get the message " Couldn't save "SYS:Prefs/Presets/Deficons/application/x-adf.info" default icon . What I have to do to permit saving ?

Ambient Settings - > Mime is destinated to associated actions (mount, play, show, edit, etc...) to differents file format, not for the icons.

Maybe you can change the SYS:Prefs/Presets/Deficons/application/x-adf.info icon to another.

I think the problem is there is no x-adf.icon in the folder

    You can create it.

A MorphOS icon is a png image renamed as *.info instead *.png.

Thanks I made it everything ok
